Arranging a child's room with allergies

    1. Try to choose hypoallergenic water-based emulsions
    2. If you can, avoid mineral products and solvent based paints
    3. Always check that the paint is properly certified

    What to choose

     

    The paints recommended for allergy sufferers are mainly water-based emulsions, the so-called "Water paints" They are also durable and quick-drying. Their main components are resins: latex or acrylic. Neutral water, on the other hand, is a thinner. Thanks to this application, the painted surface becomes uniform and smooth.

     

    Note that the paint is hypoallergenic approved. Paints for children and sensitive people should have it. All such products must have an appropriate certificate confirming a positive hypoallergenic test result.

     

    What to avoid

     

    First, paints that do not meet the hypoallergenic requirements. They contain chemicals that can be harmful to sensitive people. They can significantly reduce the comfort of living and even lead to serious illnesses.

     

    Avoid solvent-based paints, among others. They are characterized by good resistance to abrasion; however, they contain substances that may be harmful to health. They consist of a volatile solvent that evaporates while drying, emitting toxins.

     

    Persons susceptible to allergies should also avoid any dusty products and surfaces that are particularly dusty.
